Oval and lozenge-shaped links with 9 sections of the oval and cube links. The oval links are yellow and lemon gold. Delightful tones of rich yellow and lemon gold, marks the quality of the workmanship of this period. They don’t do the lemon yellow gold anymore as the chemicals used to get this colour wouldn’t be allowed now due to how harmful they can be to people. Guard chains were often used to decorate the ladies and hold a lorgnette. Pieces like these would have been made for women of standing and wealth.
