Description

9-carat gold, an oval locket with ornate engraving to front and rear. Mid-Victorian. There is some wear to the rear but not much. A superb example of a piece of sweetheart jewellery in the form of this ornately engraved oval locket. The locket is finished with a firm stable hinge and a lovely thick bale to the top. Some wear is visible.
