A Word From Barnaby & Blakes

Starting at the young age of 12, I went working with my father rummaging through the antique shops and the maze of streets in the town of Manchester in the 1970s. I was captured by the world of antiques sparkly jewellery, and all things vintage. From listening to the little old lady puffing away on her cigarette, singing ‘One day my prince will come’ to the highlights of the trade world auctions and international antique fairs. My passion was inherited from my father and I can find the beauty in a piece of jewellery; from the simplest of a $1 piece to the delights and workmanship of a piece worth $1000s. I love all things jewellery! I am passionate about the history of the pieces, where they have come from, who has made them, which workshop and which artist, as I picture the prism work huts to the house of Cartier workers designers and all in between,  I pride myself on going along with dad from the age of 12 frequenting the likes of antiques stores that surround the kendals of Manchester to the highlights of the Royal Exchange including the Corn Exchange and all the wonderful shops.

Jewellery Resizing

We offer a jewellery resizing service to make sure your ring is the perfect fit. We can resize your ring up or down, so you don’t have to worry about it being too big or too small. We will make sure it is the perfect fit for you.
