Description

Gold portrait brooch of a young baby. Set in wreath style interspersed with high lustre 6 cultured pearls. Engraved foliage set with a gold pin and finished with mother of pearl to the rear. These pieces were normally hand-painted on natural material in commemoration of a loved one. 18 Carat gold stamped with French Eagles Head and gold pin also stamped with Eagles head. Mid-Victorian.
