Description

Stunning silver guilt and enamel panel brooch. Depicting shepherdess in exquisite pastel colours, there is fine detail to the picture. A shepherdess is between a column and a folly building in the background. Lands at her bare feet, a jolly yellow hat to the right of her following gown. Pretty pink roses reflect the exquisite pomegranate pink of the stones on the surrounding of the enamel panel.

The colours are as vibrant as the date it was made and the chase work still has good detail to it. Finished with a gold pin to the rear. Stamped with the eagle’s head and a yellow metal safety chain. Very good condition. Box not included but can be arranged at an extra cost.

Period – mid to late 1800 | Width – 4.7cm | Length – 5.5cm
